1973 Oldsmobile Delta Royal Convertible; VIN:3N67H3M444899. I purchased this car in the summer of 1987 from Bill Evans Olds/Pont. Dealer here in Upper Sandusky, Ohio (now out of business). This car was nice, runs good, but I didn't feel comfortable with the engine, so had a mechanic friend pull the engine and take it to Cliff's Crankshaft and Engine Rebuilding where the engine was overhauled at 89,736 miles on April 19, 1989. This car today (7/20/08) shows on the speedometer 104,294 miles, meaning we have driven the car a total of 14,558 miles since the overhaul. We owned the car for 21 years, enjoyed it, but we are now in our 80s. It is time to give up our toys, our reason for selling. This car was originally sold new from the John H. Neate Olds Agency here in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, I saw it the day it was delivered. It has three owners prior to myself, it was a dark green and repainted to cherry red, paint in good condition. In 2004, I put new w/w tires on car, had most of the chrome rechromed, new bumpers and in 2006 had a new top boot cover. The interior is all orginal white vinyl, (nice) has AM radio, good AC, manual crank windows. Car had small leak in trunk but I had it repaired. The rubber around trunk lid should be replaced, doesn't leak, but is wearing. I have the original owners manual for this vehicle. The car has not been restored from ground up, nor to my knowledge, ever been wrecked or damage in any way. This vehicle is 35 years old and no longer being made (sad).
