1974 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Landau
1974 Extreme Monte Carlo Custom. One of a kind Show Car, ISCA Champion, It participated in the inaugural HOT ROD Magazine East Coast Power Tour. Its number is 1491 has window sticker, Original 32000 miles, matching numbers. It has never been restored, It has no rust, It is Air Ride Technologies equipped. It will cruise at regular ride height and anywhere in between. Plus in the weeds, it can run 1/2 inch from the ground in any smooth parking lot with out any trouble without the wheels hitting the fender even on a turn. It can be lowered and lifted while driving. The undercarriage is completely detailed with chrome control arms upper and lower, all chrome front-end, every bolt is either gold, chrome plated, or painted, with chrome drive shaft yoke and brackets, with a mural of a mythical castle with custom pearl paint. It has held up well it has some marks and one area of fade. But still looks awesome today. It is a true custom of it's time and becoming rarer each day. Customization was done to compete in the (ISCA) International Show Car Association circuit in the late 70?s and early 80?s on the East Coast as once in Texas. With documentation and trophies to show for it. George Barris stated at the 1979 ISCA (ISCA) NEW YORK CITY COLISEUM 18th ANNUAL ROD AND CUSTOM CARS SHOW. It is one of the nicest Monte Carlo's he had ever seen. It was retired from the circuit in 1985 and has been pampered since then. As you can see a lot of time and money has been invested in this one of a kind Monte Carlo. The interesting part is if you want to put it back to original you can. I am sure the buyer will be well satisfied with all aspects of the car; it could be taken to a show tomorrow.
